Funny...I'm posting food for my touch up today (you'll see why below).
I found THIS recipe from the Gluten Free Goddess.
(Quinoa Salad with Pineapple, Broccoli and Mint)
You see, Dan has also had to go Gluten Free while he's waiting for food allergy tests (4-6 weeks). I've been GF for almost 5 years now, so it's pretty easy in our house, but I'm always looking for new ideas. And I'm addicted to Quinoa.
Before:
A little dark & the white balance was off (I'm lazy a lot indoors)
In Camera Raw, I adjusted the white balance & exposed it a bit more.....I still liked the darkness all around. Then I ran PTM's Wonder Quickie and used the cool, color boost and contrast layers and adjusted to my liking.
Oh my gosh this salad was amazing!!!! Especially 2 days later!!!!
And below is a shot I tried to save....I'm not sure what happened.....I set the camera up for the arena before going on the ice and when I got it back it was completely different....kids? Dan? I've seen photos that Dan took before we met....and he had some great shots...

Happy Tuesday! I'm off to wake the kiddos for school!

Love both of your shots and your edits. Nice job. Have a great day!
Don't you just LOVE Karina at Gluten Free Goddess?!?! She has great recipes and it's great that she answers any questions that anyone has!
I'll have to try this since one of my friends & I are obsessed with making different Quinoa recipes! Love the edit, really brightened up the bowl!
Love the hockey edit! Such a cute moment between the two of you. Love this type of processing you do (like the sledding one with Lily). I really love it!
Have a great day, keep warm! xo
I love how the food stands out from the background. So yummy looking. The ice edit was terrific. V
Delicious looking food, and nice ice shot!
Love the hockey fixed shot! It's totally different shot, and so much better. Great job!
