We still have SO much snow here....in fact, it snowed 2-3 days again this past week. So I'm not sure if my photo is a bud that tried to start when it warmed up for a bit? Or if it's a leftover from the fall! I'm NO gardener. But it gave me hope, as I walked by it peeking out of the snow the last couple of days (did I mention it's been colder than -20C still here?)

Rather you than me in those temperatures - that's rough and that's one little brave bud to appear but I'm sure it realises that the days are getting longer and that the sap is rising and that spring isn't that far away at all. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do that that shot.
