(154/365)

I have been uninspired lately....too much to do, too little time (and 2 younger children that are at each other all day....).  But it's time to get out of this rut...and focus on all that's positive around me....a wonderful husband, children & friends.

Yesterday after dropping Jack at school, I noticed the beauty around me.  When I went back to pick him up, I brought my camera and stood out in the light snow and shot some of what I saw.

This week's theme at You Capture is: What Inspire's You
Both this one, and the one below inspired me to get my camera back out....
Photobucket

And now my before and after:

SOOC:
After:
I made a copy of the background with soft light, added a dark brown layer on exclusion and then added Live Love Laugh texture.  Lessons I've been learning from my Photoshop Skinny Mini Class (although I'm days behind....).

Kim Klassen Cafe
Hope you have a great day!  And you live in a colder climate like mine....STAY WARM!

I really like what you did. I still have no idea about such things as layering and textures...but then, I don't have photoshop either. LOL

Fab photos, all of them. How clever your second shot. I love the processing you did on it also, thanks for including the recipe. I'm waaaaay behind on Kim's class too. Hopeful to find some time this weekend to catch up.

Oh what beautiful pictures! I love that first one - it feels like Christmas! :-) And thanks for the tutorial on the second one too - very cool effect!

And thanks for your sweet comment on my interview at Life with Kaishon - it totally made my day!

I adore the first picture. As Becca said it feels like Christmas. Well talented lady I shall have to revisit to get some ideas of how to take much better photos. I think I've got an old 'box brownie' somewhere. I'll start with that.

I love these shots and it's so good to see how your recipe. I really need to get out and get capturing some of the seedheads along the hedgerows here and get back to using more of Kims textures.
