I rented a 50mm 1.2 lens for the weekend, as it's supposed to warm up and a friend is coming to town for a fun session. I'm working my butt (ok, fingers and eyes) off to put in extra hours so that I can buy a new lens and this is one on my list. This is one of my first shots......

I loved it as is, so I only ran Florabella's Champagne Black and White and changed it to a low opacity.
I'm already in love with this lens.....anyone have any input? I have a Canon EOS 7D and my choices are the 24-70mm 2.8 and 50mm 1.2

The SOOC shot is terrific; but so is the edited version. I think it helps to have a handsome model.

I wish I know of a place that rents out lenses. I was just talking to my SIL who's in Toronto and was telling her that I want to sell my 18-105mm and I want to get a 50mm f/1.4 (I have a 50mm 1.8 now) and she says that she would give me her 50mm 1.4 when she gets her 1.2 Except she has a Canon and mine is a Nikon. :(
