touch up tuesday: dumb luck (203/365)

As we were driving home, I decided to try taking photos from the passenger seat of my friend's truck.  The first shot of this barn was super over exposed....so I quickly upped my shutter speed and then it was too dark (no time for metering when I decided I needed a shot of this barn and was in a moving vehicle).

I warmed it up a bit in Camera Raw and saturated the colors a bit.  Then I used Kim Klassen's Wet Tile texture at 48% opacity.

I like it! Great job for taking it in a moving truck.

This is beautiful. The last time I was able to go out, Jeremy would hardly slow down so most of my shots were from a moving car too.

LOVE it! And I love that the barn is slightly out of focus!!

It's funny how the pictures you just happen upon sometimes turn out the best. Check out my photography blog today for one of my favourite pictures to day... which wasn't anything special to begin with.

Great Photo, the barn being slightly blurred gives it a wintery emotion. We travel a lot and I find myself taking lots of photos from a moving vehicle. I always try to use a fast shutter speed if I'm gonna be shooting in the car...Plus, shooting in RAW helps a lot. I just started in RAW and I'm finally starting to get the hang of it.

Great photo! I'm amazed you were able to get this from a moving vehicle--I have enough trouble capturing mostly immobile subjects!

I actually can't decide whether I love the SOOC more or the edited version... they're both great! And taken from a moving vehicle, too... =)
