(180/365) 12 days to a Joyful Christmas

I'm joining Dana @ Bungalow '56 to try and find something Joyful for the 12 days of Christmas.  With all the hustle and bustle lately, I haven't had a chance to get into the spirit of giving, or remembering what Christmas is all about.  I found such joy yesterday making sugar cookies with my children.  Yes.....the cookies were not exactly shaped as they should be.  Yes....there was flour EVERYWHERE.  Yes.....it brought some of the Christmas spirit into my house.  I love how the kids were deciding which cookie was for who (a couple teachers will get a special cookie).  I loved the sense of togetherness......(and it may have helped me survive the extra long day my husband had to work!)
I'm linking this photo to Simplicity's Challenge: Simple Beauty
(Dana's not doing a linky party, but you should read her posts....they're pretty fantastic!)

Well I'll be. I think I just found my Joy for today! Thanks so much Charmaine. This picture is to die for. I saw an idea on a blog by the name of Clover Lane, that I think you might like. If I find it I will email it to you.
Loving all of your 12 days of Christmas...
Have a great weekend.
