(85/365)

I tried Manual today....but it was really dreary out...and inside (even with flash...):
Then, between making supper & "computering" (Jack's old word for it), I looked up & noticed this:
(yep...that's our stairs.....and they're wood...comfy, don't you think?)

And like every good Mom would do....I shot away...tried Manual first, but they looked pretty dark so I switched to Auto, just in case.  And Auto won over again this time, and they're not even that great...but the memory of her falling asleep on the stairs (NOT in a time-out, I must add) is priceless!
And I got some snuggles in......before I had to wake her up.
Not sure if I'll have anything ready for posting tomorrow, I'm hoping to get one in, but I'm headed to work to get my new "at home" job equipment (comp & scanner & loads of docs) in between dropping and picking up Jack from Kindergarten.  And then we're headed camping as soon as we can get our butts out of here after lunch!!!!

Sometimes capturing the moment is much more important than shooting in manual. I've been that tired before! Precious.

Have a great weekend. Its beautiful here today after several days of dark and dreary. It would be a great weekend for camping. The shots were perfect. These are the moments I have forgotten, as I didn't record them ten years ago like i do now, and it makes me kind of sad.
