you capture: get outside

I had been planning since last week to use photos from our weekend away, as I knew we'd be outside for the most of it since we were camping & in the mountains and going to the Zoo.

But....then these photos happened last night, so I did a couple mini edits on them to get them ready.

Jack's shoot, take 1.

My first is going to be starting Kindergarten very soon!  Tonight we went outside to take some photos to document this special time, since I know that I'll be running around like crazy trying to get 3 kids out the door by 8:15 a.m. on the first day.  And I didn't want to let it pass us by.

Jackie, I love you so much.  I'm amazed at the person you're becoming.

You are so beautifully handsome & have such a kind soul.
Thanks for stopping by!

Henry today: I just felt my window & it's warm outside.  Can I have a freezie?  Me: Hmmm, I don't know.  Henry: But it's WARRRRRRRM.
Everyday, some variation of the same thing...and I have a hard time saying no.  Before we know it, it'll be way too cold for freezies and ice cream cones!

Great shot all of them, but that third picture with him in front of the giant number 5 just screams FANTASTIC to me. :)

Fabulous photos. For me the first one is the stand out shot - the clarity and perfection of color is absolutely stunning, like a photo you would see in a top class professional photographers portfolio. Just wonderful.

LOVE these! I am partial to the one with the big 5 and the both of you in shadow. I bet it's going to be a bit emotional with your first going to kindergarden, I know it would be for me! :)
